Seven generations of Corvettes World's first 2014 Corvette sells for $1 million at auction

The 2014 Corvette Stingray, a study in sharp edges and angles, boasts 450 horsepower, 450 pound-feet of torque and a zero-to-60 mph time of less than 4 seconds, according to Chevrolet.

The world's first 2014 Chevy Corvette sold for $1.05 million at a Barrett-Jackson auction. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. (Barrett-Jackson / January 21, 2013)
